"Dancing With the Stars": Oh the drama! Just taking a look at Season 10 alone, we saw tension in rehearsals between Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Kate Gosselin and Tony Dovalani and Cheryl Burke and Chad Ochocinco -- to name a few. When Niecy Nash appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" after being booted from the show, she told Kimmel that when it comes to drama on the show, "There's a whole lot going on!" She confessed that she frequently acted as a counselor (in the women's bathroom) to the stars we see getting upset and lashing out during rehearsals. Then we have to wonder ... is some of that tension in rehearsals due to the fact that there's a romantic connection between the dancers? At times it seems like "DWTS" is more like a soap opera than a dancing competition -- and we love every minute of it. "So You Think You Can Dance": These dancers look at this as their big opportunity to make it in a highly competitive field, doing what they've been training for most of their lives. And with the singular focus they bring to this competition, knowing that their life's dreams could be riding on this one opportunity -- well, that leaves little room for behind-the-scenes drama. Winner: We tune in to "So You Think You Can Dance" to see brilliant dancing, but "DWTS" keeps us entertained just as much off the dance floor as on it. No contest here. Point -- "Dancing With the Stars." -- Christine Law, Zap2it Related: 'Dancing With the Stars' Niecy Nash on the show's drama: 'There's a whole lot going on!'
