So when she announced she had diabetes, there was some speculation that her career might be over. Nope -- the butter-loving chef reinvented herself as a spokeswomen for diabetes lifestyle changes and medications. That gave bad-boy chef and TV personality Anthony Bourdain to tweet "Thinking of getting into the leg-breaking business, so I can profitably sell crutches later."
