Meteorologist Ross Janssen says more rain is on the way to Kansas before the sunshine returns on Halloween.
Overnight, areas of fog and drizzle will develop for much of Kansas, with dense fog possible in northern Kansas. Rain and storms will develop late in the night, but they should not be severe. Lows will drop into the 30s for northwest, with low 60s in south central Kansas.
Wednesday looks cloudy with off and on rain and storms for central and eastern Kansas. Western Kansas will begin drying out late in the afternoon with some breaks in the clouds expected. Temperatures will be around 70 for central and southern Kansas, but only be in the 50s for the northwest.
Dry weather, breezy northwest winds, and sunshine should return on Halloween. Temperatures will fall into the upper 50s for Trick-or-Treat time.
