Aaron Boll

Aaron Boll is excited to be back in the Midwest where you experience some of the craziest weather in the country.

He is originally from around Omaha. His passion for weather started as a little kid. He remembers waking up after a 5” rainstorm then looking at the flooding with his family. That was just the beginning of his excitement for weather which eventually led him to the University of Nebraska. He majored in meteorology and minored in broadcasting. In college he had the opportunity to intern at KETV in Omaha and First Coast News in Jacksonville.  Aaron is a member of the American Meteorological Society and is a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist.

After college, Aaron worked for a collegiate ministry called The Navigators at UNL. He mentored college students in leadership, character, and spiritual development. His passion for weather continued which brought him to Gainesville, FL working for WCJB as a meteorologist and reporter.

Throughout out his time in Florida he enjoyed the warm weather in winter and being close to the beach but he also missed snow during Christmas and his family which lives in Nebraska. So after two years in the Sunshine State, he is now excited to join the Ozarks.

You can find Aaron on the Weekends giving you the forecast and filling in for Kevin and Lindsey throughout the week. When he is not doing the weather, he will be out reporting the news and attending community events. If you have news ideas, please e-mail him at aboll@kspr.com.

Outside of work, Aaron likes to spend time with friends, the outdoors, work out and of course cheer on the Huskers with other local fans.
