High pressure will bring sunshine across the state on Thursday, with temperatures mainly in the 70s, but a few towns could touch or top the 80-degree mark. Friday will turn unseasonably warm, with highs through the interior reaching into the mid-80s. Saturday will be more like Fourth of July weekend than Memorial Day weekend as readings top off near 90 degrees and the dew point climbs into the uncomfortable lower 60s. A few showers are possible for both Sunday and Memorial Day, but neither day will be a washout.
