High pressure will bring a mixture of clouds and sunshine across the state on Friday with high temperatures in the 40s, a few degrees below normal. An upper level trough of low pressure could produce a passing rain or snow shower in a few towns in the afternoon, but most areas will remain dry. Saturday will feature partly sunny skies and breezy conditions with temperatures remaining in the 40s. A weak frontal system could trigger a snow shower or flurry late Saturday night and Sunday morning. It will not be a big deal.
