The fourth nor’easter in less than three weeks gets underway with light snow overspreading the region Wednesday morning. The snow will become heavier during the afternoon hours and will be heavy at times Wednesday night. High pressure to the north is trying to ridge southward and prevent the heavier snow from crossing the state. The northern portion of the state should see the least snow because of dry air working in at several thousand feet limiting moisture, and southern areas likely will have the most snow.
