Snowfall totals were certainly on the light side across the Connecticut on Wednesday, except in portions of northern Litchfield County where Salisbury reported 8 inches, Canaan and Falls Village measured 7 inches.

On Thursday, high pressure over southeastern Canada will be ridging across the region bringing mostly sunny skies and seasonable temperatures with highs in the upper 20s and lower 30s. A trough of low pressure to the southwest will cause partly cloudy skies overnight and Friday morning. A nice warm-up this weekend will melt most of Wednesday’s snow.
