Sunday the wind switches direction to the northeast that will bring a return to cooler temperatures with highs in the upper 50s to low 60s. There is a slight chance for a shower in a couple of towns, but most us will see the sun.

There are a few chances for rain next week. One will be Monday night into Tuesday morning (just a few showers). There are growing signals for a period of heavier rain later next week (beginning Thursday and continuing through Friday and possibly into Saturday) from a slow-moving storm.

Forecast Details:

Today: Definitely a cooler day out there today, feeling more seasonable for the last day of April. Temperatures in the low to mid 60s with calm winds. Possible light showers here and there.

Tonight: Temperatures down in the high 40s. Possible light drizzle/ shower overnight.

Tomorrow: Warming up into temperatures near 70 degrees. Possible drizzle in the morning and mostly cloudy.

Tuesday: Monday overnight into Tuesday expect possible thunderstorms, rain and fog. Rain clears out by the morning and highs in the 70s. Could be windy.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny with highs in the 60s.

Thursday & Friday expecting some rain. Keep the umbrella handy!

Saturday: Chance for showers. High: 60s.
