Happy Thanksgiving! Areas of rain have developed across the state with a wet/damp evening ahead. Rain will taper off to areas of drizzle and fog overnight. There’s a slight chance for some slippery spots in the northwest hills, above 1,000 feet as temperatures drop close to the freezing point.

Attention Black Friday shoppers! Keep the umbrella handy for morning doorbusters and afternoon shopping sprees with scattered showers and areas of drizzle. Skies will remain cloudy with temperatures in the upper 40s to middle 50s.

Saturday will be drier with clouds breaking for some sunshine and temperatures in the upper 40s to near 50 degrees. Sunday will be partly cloudy, breezy and cooler with highs in the 40s.

After a sunny start to the work week on Monday, rain returns to the forecast Tuesday and Wednesday of next week. There is still some question on the exact timing. But when precipitation first arrives it could start as wintry mix before transitioning over to rain with temperatures climbing into the 50s.
