More warm weather is on tap to finish up the weekend, with highs near 80 degrees in many central CT towns. Even down towards the shoreline, we’ll be well into the 70s, not feeling much like October.

Clouds roll in during the day on Monday, with a late shower possible out ahead of a strong front. That front will bring us the chance for some heavy rain Tuesday and Wednesday.

Around 1-2 inches of rain is likely with gusty winds and a rumble of thunder or two. Cooler weather fills in by Thursday with highs in the low/mid 60s.
