Mother Nature To Make Most Of Summer With Possible Fourth Heat Wave

PUBLISHED: | UPDATED:

As meteorological summer enters its twilight, signs abound that fall is around the corner. From full size acorns falling from the trees to apples sizing up in the orchards and Silver Queen corn, a late season favorite, available at roadside stands. Shade, which was tough to come by in mid-summer, now grows in coverage daily as sunrise is close to 6 a.m. and sunset is before 8 p.m. It is, however, still mid-August and Mother Nature will make the most of summer in the coming days. Temperatures will be near 90 degrees and a forth heat wave is possible.
