A very quiet weather weekend is underway with partly sunny skies on Saturday and high temperatures ranging from the upper 40s to the mid-50s. It will be sunny on Sunday with highs again in the upper 40s to the mid-50s. There is some concern for a storm system that will be approaching the region on Monday. Showers will overspread the state midday and should become heavy at times during the afternoon and evening hours. The wind will also be increasing during the afternoon. Wind gusts could reach at least into the 40s and perhaps into the 50s.
