A cold front moving off the coast of Connecticut Wednesday morning will cause a few lingering clouds, then high pressure over the upper Plains will ridge into the state bringing mostly sunny skies. As the high builds in there will be a gusty northwest wind that could result in a couple of 40 mph gusts. Temperatures will be close to seasonable levels. Cold Canadian air will settle into the state Thursday and Friday with high temperatures from the upper 20s to the mid-30s. Overnight low temperatures will be in the teens and low 20s. Sunshine and milder temperatures for the weekend.
