2. Pete Rose bets it all away

No one can deny the passion that all-time hits leader, Pete Rose played with during his baseball career. If he was betting against his own team, (Which there is no evidence that he did.) he sure did a bad job of it.  The Reds were an absolute powerhouse during Rose¿s time. Maybe that is not surprising, Rose has told folks that he bet on his team every night he was the manager in Cincinnati. 

Still, gambling on one¿s sports tends to be highly frowned upon by those in charge.  It¿s been over twenty years now since Rose was banned from baseball on August 24, 1989, and the debate still rages on today on if that ban should be overturned, and if Rose should have a place in the Baseball Hall of Fame.
