Universal Orlando Resort has unveiled several "Simpsons"-themed eateries and food items, including a Krusty Burger, a Flaming Moe and Duff Beer. Orlando Sentinel reporter Jon Busdeker sampled a few of the new items and took a tour of Moe's Tavern.

The first slice of Springfield, a section of Universal Studios devoted to the hometown of "The Simpsons," has opened. What we've seen:

Moe's Tavern, serving Duff Beer and featuring a barfly Barney photo op

•Two large murals of characters; one is evolution-themed, including a creature that may be part Marge, part pterodactyl.

Flaming Moe, a drink selling for $7.99

•Healthy choices for eats — salads, fruit and the like — under the signage of Lisa's Teahouse of Horror

•Other dining options, including the Meat Liker's Pizza from Luigi's and the Basket o' Bait from the Frying Dutchman

•A Krusty Burger, good and greasy, with a tiny, tiny pickle spear

More Springfield is set to open this summer. Stay tuned.
