Every so often, the powers that be cut us a break with a discount to one of Orlando's theme parks and attractions. For Florida residents, it's a little bonus for surviving a long, hot summer of uncertain I-4 travelers, but some deals are available to all comers.

Here are three current offers that got my attention. There are more out there. It's always worth checking out an attraction's website or doing a Google search for additional discounts. As always, read the fine print, folks, for a slew of restrictions.

Weekday Ticket

Where: SeaWorld Orlando

What: For $50, spend one day at the park any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday.

When: Now through Dec. 20

The savings: The normal one-day price is $92, so it's almost a half-off deal.

The catch: Tickets, which must be purchased online and in advance, are nonrefundable, nontransferable and restricted to U.S. residents. Parking is not included.

Other options: Florida residents can buy a Fun Card for $92 — the same price as a one-day ticket — which allows unlimited admission through Dec. 31.

Half-Price Admission

Where: Wet 'n Wild

What: For $27.50, spend a day at the International Drive water park.

When: Tickets must be purchased and used by Dec. 31.

The savings: It's a half-price deal. One-day tickets usually are $55.

The catch: Tickets must be purchased online and in advance, and proof of Florida residency is required. There's a limit of six tickets per ID. Parking is not included.

Other options: Another ticket, which sells for $50, allows Florida residents unlimited Wet 'n Wild admission for the rest of 2013. (This price was recently decreased $5.) And the Unlimited Annual Pass — $82 purchased in advance — is good for 365 days from the day of purchase, and it includes parking.

Rock Your Weekend Ticket

Where: Universal Orlando

What: For $113.99, a three-day ticket to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure (with park-to-park privileges) and both nights of Rock the Universe, the resort's Christian-music festival.

When: Sept. 6-8

The savings: Florida residents can currently buy a three-day Universal ticket with park-to-park powers for $145.99. A two-night Rock the Universe ticket is $79.99. Grand total: $225.98.

The catch: Ticket must be purchased by Aug. 30 — and it's only good Sept. 6-8.

Other options: Florida residents can purchase an annual pass with no blackout dates for $234.99. One with black-out dates (about 14 weeks) sells for $164.99.
