The new resort is opening at Walt Disney World in August 2014.

Walt Disney World announced more details today of its newest hotel, the Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World.

The hotel will have 1,000 employees on a 23-acre complex. The resort has been taking reservations since January for an August opening.

Following is a summary of features from a news release today:

--A Disney Planning Center, located near the front desk on the lobby level, provides a good spot for guests to meet “one-on-one” with Disney cast members and plan details of their stay, including ticket arrangements and dining reservations.

--Disney Character Breakfasts twice weekly at Ravello restaurant.

--Events held at the resort can feature Disney decor, entertainment acts, character appearances.

--In-Room Celebrations, including welcome gifts, a “royal princess proclamation,” “letter from the Fairy Godmother” and a large pink box filled with princess treasures, including a tiara and magic wand. (There’s also a pirate option.)

--Complimentary transportation to Disney parks every 30 minutes

--Same-day Disney merchandise delivery directly to the resort.

--Park View Rooms offer a view of the Magic Kingdom Park special fireworks displays. Capa restaurant on the 17th floor rooftop offers views of fireworks.

A check of their reservation system showed rooms ranging from $545 to $1,650 in mid-August.
