Silversea Cruises is featuring two special Grand Voyages for 2015.
A 62-day Circle South America voyage is round-trip from Fort Lauderdale beginning on Jan. 7, 2015, with calls in Key West, Costa Rica, Panama, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Falkland Islands, Uruguay, Brazil, French Guiana, Barbados, Grenada, Curacao, Aruba, Bonaire, Dominican Republic, Turks and Caicos, and the Bahamas. The other Grand Voyage sets sail on Jan. 22, aboard the Silver Spirit on a 64-day Southern Cross round-trip voyage from Los Angeles to explore 32 exotic destinations mostly in the South Pacific, including the Marquesas Islands, French Polynesia, Cook Islands, New Zealand, Australia, New Caledonia, Vanuatu, Fiji Islands, Samoa, Kiribati, and Hawaii. Holland expands in New Englad
Holland America Line is offering an extensive Canada and New England program with 48 sailings spanning spring, summer and fall in 2014. With three ships departing from five home ports, more travelers can experience the region's scenery, historic seaports, culinary treats and cultural charm. Scheduled May through October, the nine different itineraries on ms Eurodam, ms Maasdam and ms Veendam depart from Boston; Montréal and Québec City, Canada; Fort Lauderdale and New York City.
The cruises range from seven to 15 days and include family-friendly summer cruises and visits during the height of the fall foliage season. Among the offerings are several that begin or end in Fort Lauderdale including one on the Veendam that kicks off the line's Canada and New England season with a nine-day cruise from Fort Lauderdale to Québec City departing May 1.
