Disney Cruise Line is getting into the spirit of the holidays with recent announcements of Halloween- and Christmas-themed cruise offerings.

The Very Merrytime Cruises will be featured on all four Disney Cruise Line vessels, with sailings departing mid-November through Christmas.

Disney Cruise line released a video detailing some fun facts about this year's themed cruises, including the inclusion of 124 holiday trees, 14,000 yards of ribbon and more than 5.5 miles of Christmas lights.

A giant candy cane and 1-ton King Triton Christmas Tree will be part of a tropical deck party and Santa Claus will be on hand handing out 300 pounds of gingerbread cookies.

Oh, and there will be a life-size gingerbread house, as well.

Disney Cruise Line previously announced details of its Halloween on the High Seas cruises, which is expanding this year to the Disney Fantasy, Disney Wonder and Disney Magic, in addition to the Disney Dream.

The spooky sailings will occur on most voyages in September and October and will feature Halloween-themed parties, entertainment and décor including The Pumpkin Tree, which magically transforms during the cruise.

Passengers will also get the chance to meet popular Disney characters dressed in Halloween costumes.

Children and their parents will be able to participate in the "Nightmare Before Christmas Sing and Scream," a sing-along event with "Nightmare Before Christmas" characters Jack and Sally.

Other special events and activities include Haunted Stories of the Sea, costume parties and pumpkin carving.
