NCL also announced two ships sailing New England and Canada itineraries. The line didn't announce plans for the upcoming Norwegian Breakaway. The ship set to debut in spring 2013 will sail from New York to Bermuda through October 2013. Plans for the new ship after that won't be released until January, said public relations manager Amanda Graham.

For the Caribbean deployment, NCL will sail out Miami, New Orleans, Tampa and New York. The Norwegian Jewel will offer seven-day western Caribbean itineraries out of New Orleans, the largest vessel NCL has sailed out of the Big Easy. Alternating itineraries feature stops port of call at either Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico; Roatan, Bay Islands Honduras; and Belize City, Belize or Ocho Rios or Falmouth, Jamaica; George Town, Grand Cayman; and Cozumel, Mexico.
Three ships will sail out of Miami with the return of NCL's newest ship the Norwegian Epic sailing 25 seven-day eastern Caribbean trips. The Pearl will over 26 seven-day western Caribbean trips and the Norwegian Sun will sail 10- and 11-day southern Caribbean trips. The Sun's 1-day trips include stops include St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands; Roseau, Dominica; Bridgetown, Barbados; Castries, St. Lucia; and Philipsburg, St. Maarten and four days at sea. The 11-day schedule has ports of call at Cartagena, Colombia; Oranjestad, Aruba; Willemstad, Curacao; Philipsburg, St. Maarten and St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands with five days at sea.
The Norwegian Dawn, which begins sailing out of Tampa later this year will return in 2013 with 22 seven-day western Caribbean itineraries as well as a two-night cruise on Nov. 15, 2013.
The Big Apple keeps its year-round sailings from the Norwegian Gem to the Bahamas and Florida, with a slight change in the port order to allow more time at Port Canaveral with its proximity to Orlando and the theme parks. The itinerary now goes Nassau, Bahamas, Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas, the Port Canaveral as well as three days at sea. The Gem also will offer 21 nine-day eastern Caribbean voyages with stops in San Juan, Puerto Rico; Philipsburg, St. Maarten; St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands; and Samaná, Dominican Republic, with four days at sea. There's also six one-night cruises from New York.
The Gem may be the most versatile of NCL's ships as its on tap for fall foliage duty as well. The Gem will sail five seven-day Canada & New England cruises from New York with stops in Halifax, Nova Scotia; Saint John, Bay of Fundy, New Brunswick; Bar Harbor, Maine; Boston and Newport, Rhode Island.
Also sailing up north will be the Norwegian Dawn with four itineraries between Boston and Quebec.
Also on tap are four transatlantic voyages, two on the on the Norwegian Epic and two on the Norwegian Star. The Epic will sail on an 11-day voyage on April 20, 2013 from Miami to Barcelona and a 13-day cruise on Oct. 20, 2013 from Barcelona to Miami. The Star will make a 16-day voyage from New Orleans to Copenhagen, Denmark on April 21, 2013 and a 12-day voyage from Copenhagen to Miami on Oct. 1, 2013.
There's also several repositioning trips including the Dawn's 12-day Tampa to Boston sailing with Caribbean stops on April 21, 2013 and 14-day return trip to Tampa on Nov. 1, 2013. The Jewel, Pearl and Sun all offer either 14- or 17-day Panama Canal crossing trips as they reposition between Miami and Los Angeles.
