The Edgar Allan Poe Statue was dedicated in 1921 and currently sits on the plaza of the University of Baltimore School of Law. The poet and writer died in Baltimore on Oct. 7, 1849. You can also visit his gravesite at Westminster Burying Ground at Fayette and Greene Streets and the Poe House and Museum at 203 Amity St.
