A new parade will sashay up Main Street next year at Magic Kingdom. Disney World officials announced Friday that a new daytime production called Festival of Fantasy debuts in the spring of 2014.

It replaces the current afternoon parade known as Celebrate a Dream Come True.

Festival of Fantasy spotlights characters seen in Fantasyland — both the old and new areas — a spokesman said Friday. Look for old-school Disney types such as Pinocchio alongside the latest ones from "Tangled," a movie released last year.

It includes new costumes, new floats, the spokesman said, and a new soundtrack is in the works.

Although the parade features Fantasyland citizens, it won't run through the Fantasyland expansion, which opened late last year. It keeps the traditional Magic Kingdom parade route that includes Main Street and Frontierland.
