Name: Powerbag Rolling Office

What it is: A rolling carry-on that can charge almost any USB-powered device while you travel. The Powerbag has a removable, lightweight rechargeable battery that can fully charge an iPhone and most smartphones four times (less if other devices are being charged). Inside the bag are an Apple (30-pin) connector, a dual micro-USB and mini-USB connector and a USB port on the battery. It can charge iPhones, iPods, iPads, the Amazon Kindle (all generations), Barnes & Noble Nook and hundreds of other USB-powered tablets. The bag includes a slew of slots and pockets for various electronics, two larger compartments for clothes and a laptop (up to 17 inches), and smooth wheels.

The good: This bag is heaven for gadget freaks. I’ve charged my iPhone, iPod Nano and a Nook and a Kindle while traveling. Because I tend to keep either my Bluetooth or Wi-Fi features running on my iPhone, I always need a backup battery. When I arrive at my destination, I connect the supplied AC adapter to the water-resistant AC adapter charging port and begin recharging the Powerbag’s battery on a wall outlet. And while I’m recharging the bag’s battery, I can simultaneously charge multiple devices so everything is fully charged the next morning. Because I tend to charge multiple devices while flying or driving, the Powerbag usually only fully charges my iPhone two or three times. Powerbag also sells backup batteries.

The bad: Though the bag usually rolls smoothly, the wheels aren’t multidirectional for quick adjustments in a crowded terminal.
