Universal: Halloween Horror Nights tickets go on sale

New for 2016: The Ultimate Frequent Free Pass, which gets you into every night of the event

Universal Orlando is now selling tickets to the 2016 edition of Halloween Horror Nights, including single-night and multinight admission. It also unveiled its new Ultimate Frequent Fear Pass, which, for the first time, allows entry to every evening of the 31-night event.

Ultimate Frequent Fear Pass sells in advance for $199.99. An option that includes front-of-haunted-house-line access (a.k.a. HHN Express Pass) goes for $599.99.

The base, one-night admission to HHN26 will be $104.99, up from last year's $101.99. But there are offers available to Florida residents and Universal Orlando's annual passholders that will undercut that price, as well as multinight and hotel packages.

For instance, annual passholders can buy an individual night for between $55.99 and $62.99, depending on the date. Their discounts are less deep on Frequent Fear tickets. They can get the Ultimate with Express for $589.99 -- a savings of $10.

Multinight options include the Rush of Fear Pass, good for the first 10 event nights, which sells for $91.99. The Frequent Fear Pass works on 19 select nights -- but only the first Friday and Saturday -- sells for $102.99. The Frequent Fear Plus Pass -- which basically adds back in those Fridays -- is $118.99.  There are HHN Express Pass add-ons for sale for each kind of multinight pass.

This year's Halloween Horror Nights runs for a record 31 nights between Sept. 16 and Oct. 31.
