Artist Guy Harvey will visit SeaWorld Orlando next month, and the theme park is planning several opportunities to encounter the conservationist.
Guy Harvey Weekend is scheduled for Nov. 19-20. Park visitors will be able to hear Harvey's stories during hosted chats 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on both days. There will be for meet-and-greets and signings inside the Guy Harvey Shop -- which carries exclusive Guy Harvey artwork and merchandise -- at 10:00 a.m., 11:45 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. each day.
Those activities are included in regular SeaWorld admission. Other Harvey activities available for additional purchase include:
+ Sharks Up Close Tour -- Harvey and visitors go on a tour of SeaWorld's Shark Encounter. Guests will get closer than ever to a wide variety of sharks in the 700,000-gallon habitat and learn more about their world and the perils they face. The tour includes a family photo with Harvey and signed mini-print of Guy Harvey artwork. Pricing begins at $39 per person (in addition to park admission).
+ Dinner with Guy Harvey at Sharks Underwater Grill -- The evening features a three-course meal with sustainable seafood specialties set the restaurant with a window into the world of sharks. Harvey will share stories about the ocean and his artwork. Price includes a family photo with Harvey, a signed mini-print of his artwork and one specialty beverage. Pricing begins at $99 per person (in addition to park admission).
+ Pass members meet and greet with rum tasting -- Annual passholders can join Harvey for an evening of inspiration and conservation, learning about sharks while relaxing at the theme park's Waterfront. Pass Members can also have a rum tasting- experience, receive a family photo with Harvey, one beverage and a set of specialty glasses. Pricing begins at $29.
Harvey's art work concentrates on marine life, which is popularly reproduced on prints, T-shirts, jewelry and other items. A recent addition at SeaWorld Orlando is a mural near the park's Mako roller coaster. He also established the Guy Harvey Research Institute at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale.
