SeaWorld Orlando has added two more bands to its concert lineup for its annual Bands, Brew & BBQ festival, which is already underway on weekends. Longtime popular bands Alabama and Foreigner will be performing at the theme park later this month.
Alabama will hit SeaWorld's Bayside Stadium stage on Feb. 27. The band's Southern rock/country song garnered it 27 No. 1 hits dating back to 1980, including "Mountain Music," "Close Enough to Perfect" and "The Closer You Get."
Foreigner will play at SeaWorld on Feb. 28. Its best-known hits include "Feels Like the First Time," "Hot-Blooded," "Double Vision" and "I Want to Know What Love Is." Its "Juke Box Hero" was covered in an episode of "Glee."
Both concerts start at 4 p.m. and are included in regular SeaWorld admission. They will be preceded by performances by "American Idol" winner Scotty McCreery on Feb. 20 and Dennis DeYoung on Feb. 21. SeaWorld has not yet announced the artists set for March 5 and 6, the final days of Bands, Brew & BBQ for 2016.
The event also features a stage for local bands, a live DJ, a Harley-Davidson Orlando display of motorcycles plus a collection of classic cars. The USO Family Garden will offer animal encounters, and Explore Zones.
Festival activities begin at noon each day.
