Although we lack precise opening dates for many attractions, here are some of the new things to look forward to — sometime — in 2017:
•We'll start with one with an exact date attached. On Jan. 12, Ninjago World opens at Legoland Florida. It's a ninja-themed space with a 4-D ride, climbing wall, building area and more.
•The new Epcot International Festival of the Arts runs Fridays through Mondays from Jan. 13 to Feb. 20.
•A new family raft ride opens at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon in the spring.
•Pandora — The World of Avatar will open at Disney's Animal Kingdom in the summer, Disney World says. The company lists the park's "Rivers of Light" show as "coming in 2017."
•Volcano Bay, the looming water park at Universal Orlando, is set to open in "early summer," the resort says.
•Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon, a 3-D ride, opens at Universal Studios in the springtime. The theme park's record 49-night Mardi Gras event kicks off on Feb. 4.
•SeaWorld Orlando introduces its Seven Seas Food Festival on Feb. 11.
•The virtual-reality overlay of SeaWorld's Kraken coaster is planned to begin in the summer.
•Fun Spot is building a wooden coaster, set to open in summer, at its Kissimmee location.
