Get ready to score a bogey by the barn! Farmers Golf, which has been popular in Europe since the 1990s, is showing up on America's East Coast.
Manfredi Farms in Westerly, Rhode Island, features home-grown produce and 150 animals in the Petting Zoo. Now, it is also the first location in the area to boast a Farmers Golf Course, modeled after the original locations in the Netherlands.
Forget mini wind mills and fancy country clubs, this farmland game takes families through rows of corn and rustic pastures to provide a real glimpse of life in the fields. And, you won't believe what the clubs and balls look like. Check out this DayTrippers video to see Farmers Golf for yourself.
Manfredi Farms is located at 77 Dunn's Corners Road in Westerly, RI. An hour on the Farmers Golf Course costs $10 for adults and $5 for children. The fun will continue throughout the fall.
