Four years ago, a 23-thousand square foot addition was built onto Boston Children's Museum, filling this iconic spot with even more imagination, inspiration and science. Founded by teachers almost 100 years ago, it is considered one of the oldest children's museums in the world.
Watch this DayTrippers video to see the amazing three-story climber, Shaquille O'Neal's enormous shoes and a new exhibit called "Native Voices" which details the lives of area tribal families.
"We try to give everyone -- parents and kids -- the absolute best time you can have in New England," says President and CEO Carole Charnow.
The museum, located in Beantown's Innovation District, is gearing up for spring break and summer vacation. Check out the museum's website for hours and admission.
