Looking for an ambitious and energetic way to get outdoors with the family?
A brand-new obstacle course in the trees will do the trick.
The Adventure Park at the Discovery Museum in Bridgeport just opened in July and gives visitors the opportunity to go platform to platform while negotiating various hurdles. Eight different courses of varying levels wind through five acres of Veterans Memorial Park.
"We invite people to come discover their inner squirrel," laughs Anthony Wellman, Director of Communications and Sales. Take a look at the tight ropes, zip lines and swinging steps on this DayTrippers video.
Check out The Adventure Park's web site for information about admission and hours.
