?Historical re-enactors will bring to life Revolutionary War times during the Spirit of Vincennes Rendezvous on May 26-27 in Vincennes, Ind. Camps will be set up and there will be battle re-enactments, period food, music, entertainers and more. http://tinyurl.com/y8cakvtl
?The 14th annual Southern Illinois Music Festival will include more than 35 performances at locations across the southern part of the state. Dates this year are May 25-June 10 and will include classical music and jazz. www.sifest.com
?Cheese will be the star May 25-28 at The Big Cheese event at Osthoff Resort in Elkhart Lake, Wis. ?More than 50 bands from across the U.S. and Canada will perform June 1-3 at the Riverscene Indie Music Festival in Bay City, Mich. The main stage will be located at Wenonah Park on the Saginaw River, and there will be performances throughout town, including the historic State Theatre. ?Southwest Michigan wines, beers and spirits will be in the spotlight during the Makers Trail Festival, which will be June 9 at Weko Beach in Bridgman, Mich. The new event will also include food offerings and live music. www.makerstrailfestival.org
?Hundreds of antique dealers are expected at the Midland Antique Festival on June 2-3 at the County Fairgrounds in Midland, Mich. ?The Edgewater hotel in Madison, Wis., will pay tribute to veterans and their families May 26 during Memorial Day weekend. There will be readings from the book “We Gotta Get Out of This Place: The Soundtrack of The Vietnam War” by Madison-based authors Doug Bradley and Craig Werner, along with local veterans. ?The Northwest Passage has a five-day/four-night trip exploring Wisconsin’s Apostle Islands by sea kayak.
