Illinois

July 3 to Aug. 7: Illinois Shakespeare Festival, Bloomington. July 6-12: John Deere Classic, Silvis. This is the 44th year for this PGA tour event, held at TPC Deere Run. There are professional practice rounds Tuesday and the pro-am Wednesday. July 5: Lightning Bug Music Festival, Valparaiso. This is the second year for this fest, which benefits the Dunes Learning Center. The lineup includes Grammy winner Jerry Douglas.
