New theme park attractions coming in 2017

This rendering provided by SeaWorld San Diego shows Orca Encounter, a new attraction that replaces the theme park's theatrical-style whale show with a more educational experience. It's one of several new attractions at SeaWorld, which has weathered criticism and has had declining attendance related to its orca programs. The San Diego park is also opening Ocean Explorer, with multiple aquariums and rides, and Electric Ocean, featuring light displays and live performers on park pathways after dark.
