*The Michigan Opera Theatre begins its holiday lineup Nov. 12 at the Detroit Opera House with “Silent Night,” an opera depicting the spontaneous cease-fire by French, Scottish and German soldiers on Christmas Eve 1914. *Muster on the Wabash, showcasing re-enactments of battles and military life during the War of 1812, will be held Nov. 5-6 at Fort Knox II in Vincennes, Ind. *Looking ahead to the holidays, wineries along the Great River Road Wine Trail in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa will hold their Holiday Harvest Wine and Food Festival on Nov. 12-13.
