When it comes to shopping for a hotel room in downtown Chicago, scoring one for $20.16 is a home run.
The AC Hotel Chicago Downtown by Marriott is offering the special rate in honor of the Cubs’ 2016 World Series Championship.
It’s good for two days only, April 10 and 11, to coincide with the team’s 2017 home opener against the Los Angeles Dodgers on April 10.
Reservations will be taken on a first come, first served basis Saturday, Feb. 25, and Sunday, Feb. 26, the first days of spring training.

You’ll have to call the hotel at 312-981-6604 to book the special rate; it can’t be reserved online.
Here’s the catch (pun intended): Only 20 rooms each night will be eligible for the $20.16 offer, which doesn’t include tax.
I suggest calling very, very early Feb. 25 — as in 12:01 a.m. — because the limited supply will likely go fast.
The hotel, at 630 N. Rush St., opened in 2015 and was the fourth AC Hotels by Marriott property to open in the U.S. (Most AC Hotels are in Europe.) The Chicago hotel is owned and managed by Milwaukee-based Marcus Hotels & Resorts.
