CBS scored another easy ratings win on Friday, with no other network really providing much competition.
For the night, CBS drew a 7.0 rating/12 share, beating second-place ABC, 4.1/7, by about 5 million viewers. FOX took third with a 3.7/6. NBC managed only a 2.8/5 in finishing fourth, and The CW trailed with a 1.1/2.
CBS also led the adults 18-49 demographic with a 2.6 rating. ABC took second at 1.9, followed by FOX at 1.6. NBC averaged a scant 1.1, but that still beat The CW's 0.6.
"Ghost Whisperer" put CBS on top at 8 p.m. with a 6.9/12. "Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?," 4.1/7, came in second for FOX. "Deal or No Deal" earned a 3.6/6 for NBC, beating out "Wife Swap" on ABC. The CW averaged 1.1/2 with "Everybody Hates Chris" and "The Game."
An "NCIS" rerun scored a 7.1/12 for CBS at 9 p.m. ABC moved into second with "Supernanny," 3.7/6. "Don't Forget the Lyrics" delivered a 3.3/6 for FOX. "Crusoe's" 2.4/4 was good enough to give NBC fourth over an "America's Next Top Model" rerun on The CW.
"Numb3rs," 7.1/13, completed the CBS sweep at 10 p.m. ABC's "20/20" drew a 5.6/10, easily beating NBC's "Lipstick Jungle," 2.3/4, for second.
