Rather than disappearing, cast members for FOX's new drama "Vanished" just keep materializing.
The heavily serialized conspiracy drama has added Penelope Ann Miller ("Carlito's Way") and Esai Morales ("NYPD Blue") to its cast.
"Vanished" focuses on the mysterious disappearance of the wife (Joanne Kelly) of a prominent senator (John Allen Nelson) and the investigation into her whereabouts. Miller will play Jessica, the senator's first wife, while Morales will play the head of the FBI team (including characters played by Gale Harold and Ming-Na) charged with the case.
The drama, created by Josh Berman ("CSI: Crime Scene Investigation"), will air on Monday nights at 9 p.m. ET starting this fall.
Miller is no stranger to FOX television, having co-starred in the short-lived sitcom "A Minute with Stan Hooper." Other recent television credits for the "Kindergarten Cop" co-star include appearances on "CSI: NY" and "Desperate Housewives."
Morales may still be best remembered for his supporting performance in 1987's "La Bamba." He appeared last season in an episode of "Freddie" on ABC and will next be seen in the feature "Fast Food Nation."
