Matt Dillon, who received an Oscar nomination for his role in "Crash," could very well have been in an accident himself.

The apparently lead-footed actor was arrested for speeding Tuesday, Dec. 30 in Newbury, Vermont, reports People.

Dillon, 44, was driving a rented 2009 Chevy Impala when he was clocked going 106 mph in a 65 mph zone. State troopers pulled him over and then processed him in nearby Bradford.

He was reportedly cooperative.

Dillon is scheduled to be in Orange County Court to face the citation on Jan. 21.

Dillon was nominated for his role as a racist cop in the Oscar-winning "Crash." His upcoming films include "Old Dogs" and "Armored."
