Study ranks Bloomington as one of the hardest working cities

The people of Bloomington have received some national recognition for being one of the country's hardest working cities.

The people of Bloomington have received some national recognition for being one of the country's hardest working cities.

Bloomington comes in at number four in a new study conducted by “PARADE Magazine.” Number three is Norfolk, Va. Hartford, Conn., came in at number two. The hardest working people live in Columbia, Mo.

The Bureau of Labor helped conduct the study.  They looked at the number of hours worked in an average week, willingness to work during personal time, number of dual income homes and the state's employment rate.
