The Speedway Police Department is requesting the public’s help in identifying a man they believe is connected to a gas station homicide last week.

Police said the man was captured on surveillance video at Tremors Nightclub earlier in the night.

According to police, the man is believed to have fired a gun at two men inside a truck that was parked near a gas pump at the station located on 10th Street and Lynhurst Drive. 

The passenger, identified as 30-year-old Tommy Thompson was struck by gunfire and was pronounced dead at the scene by medics.

Police said Thompson was also at the nightclub prior to the shooting and believe it may have resulted from an incident that too place there.
