A second Earlham College student injured during a train accident in Richmond has died.

Earlham College announced that Lenore Edwards passed away. The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office (Ohio) alerted Richmond police about the death. Edwards, who is from St. Louis, was one of three students struck on Nov. 9. It happened in Richmond’s Historic Depot District at North Eight and E streets.

Police said personnel aboard the Norfolk Southern Railroad saw the students standing too close to the track before the accident. They were walking home from the "College Night at the Depot" event.
