A reward is being offered in the latest pharmacy robbery in the Indianapolis area.

On Wednesday, a man entered the CVS store at 5925 E. 71st St. Tuesday afternoon, jumped over the counter and demanded drugs from the safe. The man was armed, the clerk said.

He ordered the drive-thru window opened and a silver, four-door Pontiac Grand Prix pulled up. A second man climbed through the window and forced a victim to help him fill up a bag with controlled substances.

Both men climbed back through the window, got into the car and drove off. Police said the men got away with a large quantity of drugs from the safe. Both men wore black masks, dark clothing and gloves.

Crime Stoppers and law enforcement officials are offering a $1,000 reward for information that will help solve the case. Purdue Pharma L.P. is donating the money for the reward.
