IUPUI police arrested a man accused of videotaping other men inside a restroom with his cell phone.

According to the IUPUI Police Department, Durrell Garrison, 19, used an iPhone to record other men at a restroom in the science building.

A man was using the restroom when he noticed someone slide an iPhone along a wall next to his urinal, according to a police report. The witness left the restroom and called police.

When police went inside the bathroom, they found Garrison alone and questioned him. According to the report, Garrison admitted he was recording people with his iPhone. When asked what he was doing, Garrison told officers he was masturbating to the videos on the phone.

Garrison allowed police to look through his phone, the report said. Officers found he recorded another person using the bathroom in the stall next to him. Garrison told police that the individual didn’t give him permission and didn’t know he was being recorded.

Garrison was arrested on charges of voyeurism and public indecency. Police said he also had an open warrant. In addition, police issued a trespass warning covering all IUPUI property for two years.
