Muncie Office Building Given to Ivy Tech
The downtown Muncie building that was once the Ball Corp. headquarters has been donated to Ivy Tech Community College.

The donation of the Fisher Building announced Thursday is the is the largest single donation Ivy Tech has ever received. It was given to the school by Fisher Building LLC and Janice Fisher, whose husband John Fisher was a retired Ball Corp. president who died in June at age 93.

Ivy Tech Foundation Chairman Ronald Faugher says the building is worth more than $20 million. The three-story building will renamed the Ivy Tech Fisher Campus and used for classes and programs.

Tenants in the building, including Ameriprise Financial Services and The Star Press newspaper, will remain.
