Plumadore is pleading not guilty to charges of murder, abuse of a corpse and removing a dead body from the scene in connection with the death of Aliahna Lemmon.
Plumadore is accused of killing and then dismembering Lemmon on December 22.
In an interview with police, Plumadore admitted that he used a brick to hit Lemmon in the head several times, before dismembering her body. According to the probable cause affidavit, Plumadore said he placed pieces of Lemmon's body in freezer bags before disposing of them in a dumpster at a nearby business.
Lemmon’s family said Plumadore was a trusted family friend who was caring for the girl and her younger sister while their mother had the flu.
