An Indianapolis judge says Indiana’s school voucher program does not violate the state constitution.
Last year, parents, teachers and administrators sued over the voucher law, saying it takes money away from public schools and benefits Catholic and Christian schools.
"The scholarship funding is directed to students' families, not to private schools. The court agreed that the choice scholarship program does not violate anyone's rights," said Greg Zoeller, Indiana Attorney General.
Opponents said they plan to appeal the ruling.
