Indianapolis—Fans headed to Victory Field to watch the Indianapolis Indians, can bring their own bottled water until Monday.
Hot temps will continue through the week and that's why staff members have allowed fans to bring their own bottled water to stay hydrated during the game.
"There are big fans out here and that's why we love playing here," Catcher Jason Jaramillo said.
For the blistering hot week, fans were put inside the dugouts to keep players cool.
"Just stay hydrated, trying to use as much shade as possible. I think sleep is important (in between games)," Pitcher Garrett Olson said.
Olson said players use an ammonia towel with ice to keep cool.
"Lots of drink. Lots of bananas," Jaramillo laughed as he talked about what they have done to keep cool for the week.
