A convicted sex offender faces sexual misconduct charges alleging that he hosted teenage "sex parties" at his home during which he gave youngsters alcohol and encouraged them to engage in sex acts.

Forty-three-year-old Vincent Tyrone Carter was charged this week with sexual misconduct with a minor, two counts of child solicitation and furnishing alcoholic beverages to minors.
He remains jailed at the Greene County Jail on a $75,000 bond.

Police say Carter hosted parties at his Linton-area mobile home about 35 miles southwest of Bloomington that catered to young teens.

Investigators interviewed more than 20 youths ranging in age from 12 to 17 who said Carter charged them $5 and then bought them rum, vodka and whiskey.

He also supplied them with sex toys and encouraged them to use them and have sex while he watched.
