So moonshine is legal now, and the first legit stuff to be made in New England, Onyx Moonshine, comes from right here in Connecticut. Onyx Spirits Company has commissioned the mixologists from a handful of New Haven's popular watering holes to create a signature cocktail that incorporates Onyx Moonshine in some fashion. Patrons can enter to win a free Onyx Moonshine party for 20 friends, and can vote for their favorite concoction at The March Mayhem Cocktail Crawl trophy will be awarded to whichever restaurant's cocktail gets the most votes. You have until March 23 to check it out and cast your vote.

116 Crown: New York Minute, created by John Ginnetti: Onyx Moonshine, lemon juice, simple syrup, muddled cucumber and thyme, soda water, thyme garnish.

Anna Liffey's: McCoy's Minty Moonshine, created by John Broker: Onyx Moonshine, muddled mint and orange zest with sweet vermouth, dry vermouth, orange juice, orange and mint garnish.

BAR: Basil Berry MoonBounce, created by Hunter: Onyx Moonshine, muddled basil, strawberries, blueberries, Red Bull, RIPE agave margarita, club soda, strawberry and rosemary garnish.

Black Bear Saloon: The Black Bear, created by Mike Porcello: jalapeño and bacon infused Onyx Moonshine, shaken over ice and served in a martini glass, jalapeño slice garnish.

Box 63: Cucumber Ginx, created by Scottie Graham & Kristine Listorti: Onyx Moonshine, cucumber rum, ginger syrup, cucumber wheel, candied ginger rim garnish.

The Cask Republic: Rosemary and Onyx, created by Tim Rykoski: Onyx Moonshine, rosemary infused simple syrup, St. Germaine, rosemary sprig garnish.

Delaney's: The Shine-Y Navel, created by Jeff Alstrup: Onyx Moonshine, Massenez Creme de Peche liqueur, Grand Marnier, orange juice, orange twist garnish.

Geronimo: Hot Dixie Moon, created by Sean Butler: Onyx Moonshine, white peach puree, peach liqueur, fresh squeezed lemon juice, cayenne pepper, cayenne salt rim.

Kelly's: Chocolate Putcheen, created by Patrick Hogan: Onyx Moonshine, huckleberry vodka, chocolate mint liqueur, Bailey's Irish Cream, cranberry juice, strawberry slice garnish.

O'Toole's: Onyx Old Fashioned, created by Mike Beirne: Onyx Moonshine, muddled lemon, orange, cherry, sugar, agora bitters, orange and cherry garnish.

The Owl Shop: Cape Moonshiner, created by Bill Raffaele: Onyx Moonshine, Cointreau, muddled dry cranberries, cranberry juice, orange twist garnish.

Rudy's: Magenta Onyx, created by Jeffrey Petrin: Onyx Moonshine, pino noir, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup, blueberry and red grape garnish.

The Russian Lady: The Russian Bell, created by John Edwards: infused Onyx Moonshine, peach and clementine peel, clementine sugar rim.

Sullivan's: The Sullivan, created by Dean DiGioia: Onyx Moonshine, melon liqueur, pineapple juice, blue curacao, lemon slice garnish.
